Grace Grants · for churches & nonprofits

Your ministry likely qualifies for $10,000 a month in free Google ads.

The Google Ad Grant gives eligible churches and nonprofits up to $10,000 every month of free Google Search advertising — $120,000 a year. Almost nobody in the Verde Valley has claimed it. I set it up, keep it healthy, and hand you a one-page report each month in plain English.

One helper for the whole ministry

The grant is where most churches start. It's not all I can do.

I'm a local believer who can quietly handle the tech a ministry shouldn't have to think about — being found, being reached, and staying connected — priced for ministries, and free where it should be. The map below is everything I can help with. Most churches only ever need one or two pieces.

The Church Suite · everything included

Beyond the grant — your whole ministry's tech, clearly listed.

Grace Grants is the flagship (above). Everything else the Church Suite can do lives under one of three jobs — so they can find you, reach you, and stay connected. Every price is real and priced for ministries. Most churches only ever need one or two.

A note on timing: the text-message services here — the prayer line, visitor follow-up, event & VBS reminders, giving care, and missionary updates — switch on during your first onboarding week, once your opt-in texting is set up.

Free Church Tech Audit

A free, honest 20-point checkup of how findable and reachable your ministry is — website, Google, giving, search, and phone. It ends with the one thing worth fixing first. No cost, no pressure.

So they can find you · in practice

How people actually find a ministry today.

When someone new moves to town — or someone's world falls apart late on a Tuesday night — here's how they end up at your door, and how I help with each path.

📍
Locations — findable on the map

Most journeys start with a search: "church near me," "food bank Sedona." I claim and polish your Google Business Profile — service times, photos, directions, phone — and keep what Google says about you current and true, so the search ends at your front door instead of a stale listing.

✉️
Mailings — a welcome in the mailbox

Sedona still checks the mail. New-neighbor postcards, VBS and event invitations, Easter and Christmas mailings — I help you design and print them affordably, and point every card at a page that's ready for visitors, so paper and web work as one welcome.

📣
Ads — present in every search that matters

The Google Ad Grant puts your ministry at the top of searches like "grief support near me" — paid for by Google, not the offering plate. That's the flagship I set up and keep healthy. Where it helps, I'll also set up local and social ads, priced for ministries.

Not sure which of the three matters most for your ministry? Start with the free tech audit — it looks at all of them, honestly.

What this is — honestly

The most under-used blessing in nonprofit tech.

When someone nearby Googles "food bank Sedona," "grief support near me," or "church in Sedona" — the organizations they find are the ones running these ads. The grant decides whether that's you.

And because you deserve the straight version before any call:

  • The $10,000/month is Google's ad credit, not cash — it pays for ads, it never touches your bank account.
  • It runs text ads on Google Search only — no banner ads, no YouTube.
  • Eligibility: churches and ministries generally qualify with recognized charity status (e.g., 501(c)(3)) and a real, secure website. Government entities, hospitals, and schools don't (schools have their own program).
  • Google suspends grants that slip below its rules — a 5% click-through floor, keyword quality standards, account structure. This is why most unmanaged grants die, and why setup alone isn't enough.
What I set up

Five pieces, done for you.

1
Google for Nonprofits enrollment

Charity verification done right, together — identity steps and Google's terms stay in your hands, and I sit with you for them.

2
Ad Grant activation + your first campaign

Built to Google's rules so it passes review — mission-true ads for the things people actually search for.

3
Google Business Profile

Claimed and cleaned up — hours, photos, description, and your giving link — so you're found on Google Maps too.

4
Text-to-give

"Text GIVE to your number" replies with your own secure giving page. Donations flow to your processor — never through me.

5
A simple digital front door

If your website is too thin to qualify, I build or refresh a clean page wired to your giving and "get help" paths.

THE PART THAT MATTERS

Grant Care — kept alive, month after month

Most organizations that get the grant lose it within months — nobody's watching the click-through floor, the keyword rules, the structure requirements. Grant Care is the quiet monthly routine that keeps yours healthy:

  • Click-through rate checked against Google's 5% rule
  • Weak keywords pruned, fresh ones added
  • Ad copy refreshed so it never goes stale
  • Conversion tracking verified
  • Google's annual survey handled on time
  • A one-page monthly report: who you reached, in plain English

Grant Care is $149 a month, flat. No contracts. Never a percentage of ad spend or donations.

Honest pricing

Priced for ministries — on purpose.

Agencies charge $500–$2,000 to set a grant up and $250–$600 every month to manage it. This is the corner of my work closest to my faith, so it's priced where a small congregation can say yes without a board fight.

MIX AND MATCH

Pick two or more, save automatically.

Don't need a whole bundle? Build your own from the à la carte menu above — the more monthly services you pick, the more you save:

  • Pick any 2 monthly services → 10% off the combined monthly price.
  • Pick 3 or more monthly services → 15% off the combined monthly price.
  • One-time services (GBP Rescue, Sermon Archive Rescue, a website build, Grace Grants Activate, per-event pricing) are never discounted and don't count toward the "pick 2 or 3" tally — keeps the math simple.
  • Grace Grants Care and the Communications Package (Overflow) stay at their set price — the discount comes off everything else in the mix.

Simple enough to say out loud: Front Desk $129 + Prayer Line $69 + Missionary Hub $59 = $257 → 3 services → 15% off → $218/mo.

Why I do this

Ministry-adjacent work I take personally.

I'm Thomas — local, part of a Verde Valley congregation myself, and this is the corner of my work that sits closest to my faith. Your mission deserves to be findable by the people praying someone can help them this week.

So the ground rules are simple: your accounts stay yours, giving flows straight to your organization, I tell you plainly if you're not eligible, and there's no pressure at any step. If all you take from our call is a free answer, that's a fine outcome.

Common questions

Asked by every board, answered straight.

Is the Google Ad Grant real?

Yes — an official Google program, running for over two decades, giving eligible nonprofits up to $10,000/month in free Search advertising. Most small organizations simply never claim it.

Are we eligible?

Most churches and ministries qualify with recognized charity status (like 501(c)(3)) and a real, secure website. Government entities, hospitals, and schools are not eligible — schools have a separate Google program. The check is free and takes about 15 minutes.

What's the catch?

No catch — honest limits. It's Google's ad credit, not cash; it only runs text ads on Google Search; and Google enforces program rules. Most small orgs realistically use a few hundred to a couple thousand dollars of it monthly — still hundreds of neighbors finding you who weren't.

Do donations pass through you?

Never. Giving stays on your own processor and your own accounts, including text-to-give. I build the signposts; the money goes straight to you.

What does it cost?

Activate is $299 one-time ($599 if you also need a simple website page), and Grant Care is $149/month, cancel anytime. Agencies typically charge $500–$2,000 setup and $250–$600 a month for the same work. Never a contract, never a percentage of ad spend or donations.

We had the grant and lost it. Can it come back?

Very often, yes. Most suspensions trace to the 5% click-rate rule nobody was watching. I diagnose it, fix the structure, request reactivation — and then keep it from happening again.

Do we have to buy everything?

No. Most churches start with one thing — often the free audit or the grant check — and add only what actually helps. No bundle is required, no contract.

Will you text our members without permission?

Never. Anything that texts your congregation is opt-in, follows quiet hours, and honors STOP instantly. You own the list; we just make it kind and timely.

Is this priced for a small church?

Yes, on purpose — the same priced-for-ministries promise as the grant work, with a quiet rate for ministries where budget is tight. No ministry gets turned away over money.

Can we mix and match instead of buying a bundle?

Yes — pick any 2 monthly services for 10% off the combined price, or 3 or more for 15% off. Grace Grants Care and the Communications Package keep their set price; the discount applies to everything else. One-time services (like GBP Rescue or Sermon Archive Rescue) don't count toward the discount.
