🛡️ Scam Shield

Spot the tricks before they cost you.

The fake "virus" pop-ups. The "IRS" calls demanding gift cards. The "tech support" that asks for remote access. I teach you to recognize every one of them in plain English — and you can text me anything suspicious, any time, before you click or pay.

My promise: I will never ask for your passwords or banking details, and I will never tell you to give anyone remote access to your device.

📍 It happened right here in Sedona.

A Sedona neighbor in her 90s got a phone call from someone claiming to be her bank: her account was "compromised," and to protect it she needed to buy gift cards, hand them to a courier — and tell absolutely no one. It sounded urgent. It sounded official. She was already headed out the door, bag in hand, when an Uber driver pulled into her driveway by mistake.

He happened to be a retired police officer. She asked if he was the courier. He saw her face, put it together, and said the six words that saved her: "That's a scam. Don't do it." When he picked up her phone, the scammer had already hung up and vanished. "I think the good Lord sent him there," she said afterward. Read the story (FOX 10) →

The pattern to remember: urgency, secrecy, gift cards, couriers. Any one of those means stop and check with someone first. Your bank will never send a courier for cards, and no real helper ever demands secrecy. That neighbor got a miracle in the driveway — Scam Shield means you don't have to count on one. Text me before you click, pay, or hand anything over. That's what this line is for.

Meet your Buddy

From "what did I press?" to "that was easy."

Every week I sit at kitchen tables just like this one. Something's frozen, something's beeping, something wants a password nobody remembers — and twenty patient minutes later, it all makes sense. The job isn't just fixing it. It's leaving you comfortable with it.
